Project Arrow
Schools should be a safe, warm environment for every child to blossom, connect with classmates and teachers and be their best self. But for many autistic students, school can feel overwhelming. This doesn’t have to be the case.
At the heart of Project ARROW is the love of a father for his “Arrow” and simply wanting to help create a learning environment for Arrow and his classmates that will allow all the students to be happy, kind and experience the joy of learning. The harmonic convergence of the Clark County School District, UNLV College of Education, UNLV Medical and the Grant a Gift Ackerman Autism Center speaks to their commitment to Project ARROW and making this initiative a scalable model for all neurodivergent students.
An arrow represents individual strength, resilience, and personal independence, forward motion, sense of direction and focus on a goal.
